The NFL is back for another season of thrills, spills, and touchdowns! The 2023 NFL season kicks off on Thursday, September 7, with the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Detroit Lions.
How to Watch
In the United States, games will be shown on the NFL’s “NFL+” platform, as well as on ESPN, FOX, NBC, and CBS. Fans outside of the US can also follow the action via the NFL’s Game Pass on DAZN.
Contenders
The Chiefs are the favorites to repeat as champions, but there are a number of other teams that could challenge for the title. The Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, and Aaron Rodgers-led New York Jets are all strong contenders.
Rookies to Watch
The 2023 NFL draft class is loaded with talented rookies, including quarterbacks Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, and Anthony Richardson. Running back Bijan Robinson and defensive players Will Anderson Jr., Tyree Wilson, Devon Witherspoon, Lukas Van Ness, and Jalen Carter are also worth keeping an eye on.
Predictions
The Chiefs are the favorites to win Super Bowl LVIII, but the Eagles, 49ers, Bills, and Jets are all capable of knocking them off.
